About this watch
Created in 1960, the Admirals Cup by Corum is the most iconic nautical timepiece ever made. Its dodecagonal case with international nautical pennants on the dial makes it instantly recognizable. This is a somewhat rarer version with numerous nautical complications and a very striking design.
Besides local timekeeping duties, the watch also features a GMT function, a time tide 24-hour indicator, a moon phase tide strength indicator and a date function. The chronometer-certified (COSC) automatic calibre CO 977 has a power reserve of 40+ hours.
The watch is in an exceptional condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. It is delivered as a complete set with original box and papers. The original bracelet features a fold over clasp with security and includes all original links. The length is about 19 cm and together with the watch allows for a wrist circumference up to 24 cm approximately. The bracelet is in solid condition with no stretch at all. It also features an instant extension option to wear the watch over wind jackets or dive suits. The hands and hour markers feature a very sharp and bright lume which can be seen on the last two pictures.
